FRESH FROZEN

Fresh Frozen was first through composed, but then the “guts” took over. The lines crumpled in many improvised creeks. An apparently pure soul showed its imperfections. Sbach’s fugue derailed from harmony and evolved in a dizzy stomp. A ballad calmed the rage, but then Jack-in-the-box breaked in and swept it away with a sardonic laugh. Colette is an incomplete sketch, the last cue of an eternally suspended speech.
